The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce strives to promote the commercial, industrial, and civic growth and welfare of the City of Mountain View and its trade area.
Our Chamber of Commerce is made up of an Executive Director who is in the office Monday thru Friday and a board of 6 volunteers who meet once a month to discuss ways to promote and better the organization.
Every year the Chamber of Commerce hosts and supports multiple events in the community. In February we host a Sweetheart Breakfast, in April we host a “Let’s Grow Together” vendor event and partner with Mercy St. Francis Hospital on the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. In May we set up and advertise the City Wide Yardsales in Mountain View. June is dedicated to our Membership Drive. In July we host another vendor event “Christmas in July.” We also put on a Mountain View Community Night at Hammond’s Field. September is our annual Pioneer Day’s Festival. In October we have our annual Chamber Auction to fund scholarships given to local seniors. In November we host a Christmas Craft Show and a Veteran’s Day Breakfast. In December, we host a second Christmas Craft Show as well as a magical evening Christmas parade.
The Chamber is constantly working on planning more events throughout the year to give people in our area something fun to look forward to.
We also offer our Chamber Members multiple opportunities to sponsor these events and advertisement opportunities throughout the year. We take great responsibility in increasing awareness of our members through social media, flyers and business cards in the Community Center as well our on our website and via word of mouth. We offer monthly informational luncheons to members only as well as multiple networking opportunities throughout the year.
